Deposit & Cancellation Policy at Michelle Marshall Salon in Cardiff

Dear Guests

Your custom is very important to us and we will always do our utmost to fit you in for an appointment. When you book an appointment with us we will ask you for a booking deposit.  This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable provided we receive at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

Your deposit payment will be as follows:

Blow Dry – £10
Cut & Style – £20
Colour – £50
Kerastraight – £50

Why Do I Have To Pay a Deposit?

Your appointments are very important to the team at Michelle Marshall Salon.  We take your appointment as a verbal contract and it is reserved especially for you.  For this reason, please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. 

We respectfully ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us ASAP  and at least 48 hours in advance to avoid the loss of your deposit.  This will help us with the smooth running of Michelle Marshall Salon.

Our cancellation policy is strictly 48 hours for all guests.  If we don’t receive 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment then unfortunately, your deposit becomes non-refundable.  

All returning guests who fail to attend an appointment will be asked to pre-pay in full for their next appointment. We completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and can assure you that we will be sympathetic.

Consultations and Skin Allergy Patch Tests

Guests who have not had a colour service before, or have not had a colour service for over six months at Michelle Marshall Salon must make arrangements for a consultation first.   This ensures that your service appointment will run smoothly and you and your stylist are both clear on the outcome you hope to achieve.

At your consultation we will also carry out an allergy patch test.   Allergy tests must take place no later than 48 hours before a colour service appointment.  Booking deposits will not be refunded if you do not visit us to have a consultation and allergy test in sufficient time.  You can read our full allergy testing policy here.   It is a condition of booking with us that you have an allergy patch test if required under our policy.

Our 48 hour cancellation policy gives us time to inform our standby guests of any availability and keeps our team members’ schedules filled.  Our aim is to provide you with an excellent level of service and our policies help us to achieve this.
