Deposits, Cancellations & Consultations at Michelle Marshall Salons, Cardiff

Please read the following information before booking an appointment:

Deposits

To secure your appointment you are required to pay a non refundable deposit of 50% of the service. The deposit will be placed onto your file, the remaining amount will be paid at the appointment. Without a deposit unfortunately we are unable to secure your appointment for you.

If you don’t want to pay a deposit we suggested taking a chance on a walk in appointment. We cannot guarantee we can accommodate you, but its an option you can choose to use.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel please let us know up to 48 hours before your appointment time to avoid incurring unavoidable charges.

If you let us know 24 hours prior to your appointment or on the day prior to your appointment, a 50% cancellation charge will apply.

We know unforeseen circumstances and things come up,  so if you need to rearrange your appointment please contact us ASAP to let us know. We can over ride any charges when you rearrange rather than  cancel. This can be easily done by calling us on 0202 0611 566 or contacting us via email info@michellemarshallsalon.co.uk.

Unfortunately if you do not let us know within this time or no show you will be charged 100% of the service you booked.

Please respect our policy as a result in no shows or late cancellations is a loss of time and money for our independent small local business.

Late Arrivals

Please ensure you allow enough time to arrive on schedule for your appointment.  We can hold your appointment slot by up to 15 minutes, but beyond this time you will need to reschedule. This means it will be treated as a late cancellation.  If you are running late, please let us know by phone or email.

Consultations and Skin Allergy Patch Tests

A consultation is required before going ahead with any hair colour service. This ensures your service appointment will run smoothly. It also means that you and your stylist are clear on the outcome you hope to achieve. 

The cost of the consultation is £25, which is paid in advance.  If you then book your hair appointment this will go towards your hair service on the day.  If you decide to not go ahead with your service you can choose to use the £25 off the price of an alternative service or the cost of hair products.

For beauty consultations where you do not go ahead with the treatment discussed, you can use consultation price towards the cost of beauty products.

For hair services, we book a 30 minute appointment for your consultation, during which your expert stylist will ask you a series of questions about the history of your hair over the last 18 months.  Small details which may not seem important can affect your desired outcome for your hair, so these questions are all important.   We will also analyse your hair and its current condition and assess whether it whether this will impact on your desired outcome.  It’s important to remember that changing your hair colour can be a journey with many steps to achieve the desired result.   We will recommend the correct products, treatments and services to ensure you get the best possible outcome.   This is all part of the premium hair service which we offer at our Cardiff salons.

At your consultation we will also carry out an allergy patch test.   Allergy tests must take place no later than 48 hours before a colour service appointment

Booking deposits will not be refunded if you do not visit us to have a consultation and allergy test in sufficient time.  You can read our full allergy testing policy here.   It is a condition of booking with us that you have an allergy patch test if required under our policy.
